That is the only word that can describe me this morning. My typical breakfast consists of a Special K Bliss Bar and some fruit. I usually eat this when I arrive at work. Today is different though. That doesn’t sound appealing at all. Why, you ask???
As I rode up in the extremely crowded elevator this morning, I noticed a familiar smell. It was one I had not encountered in some time. My eyes started frantically searching my fellow passengers to see who had the item. Then, there it was…..a man with a bag…correction, BIG bag of White Castle hamburgers. He was bringing them to his department for breakfast.
Never in my life have I wanted to work in that department as much as I did at that moment. I started mentally mapping out the nearest White Castle so I too could go get a “fix”. Then, BINGO! I realized there is one only 8 blocks (or so) away from my office building.
So, now the time until lunch just cannot pass quickly enough. I know, people either love White Castle or hate it. I’m a lover. How about you??

I’m a hater. Of all of the things I miss about the Midwest, Whitie’s is not one of them. 🙂

I am so embarassed to say, I have not had one before. But from what others tell me, I shouldn’t so I will never have cravings. :o)

I’m a vegetarian, so I don’t do White Castle. However, I can tell you that I just had a quarter of a Baskin-Robbins ice cream pie for breakfast…so I sympathize.

@Gwen: Are you sure you’re really from St. Louis? I think you may have been spending too much time in KC and DC. ha ha
@Grace: I probably need to send you some frozen White Castles so you can have the expereience at least once. It’s definitely an acquired taste.
@Kerry: I love Baskin Robbins ice cream more than just about anything. I worked there when I was 16. It was a great first job. I think I gained almost 15 pounds in just one year there.
