The Twin Carnival Is Coming- Head to The Facepainting Booth

One of my fave twin blogs/ twin mommy twitterer is Jen.  She writes the blog “Twin Happy Jen“.  She is putting together a blog carnival for all the multiples out there.  For anyone who isn’t familiar with blog carnivals, the organizer requests blog post submissions on a certain topic or that fall into a certain theme.  Jen has taken this to a new level.  Her carnival is truly like visiting a virtual carnival.

She has rides, games, food- all in different booths.  She even has a restroom where you can write on the virtual wall!  I’m making a few submissions to the carnival, but the reason I’m writing this post today is so I can contribute to the Facepainting Booth.

We recently went to Disney World for the twins’ first visit.  They have face painting at each of the four Disney parks.  It’s pretty amazing that the artists can create these designs in only three or four minutes.  And, it was nice because they were fairly inexpensive and the kids loved wearing the face paint all day.

This picture was taken at Hollywood Studios.  Jack wanted to look like a Power Ranger and Carleigh was set on being a scary, pink tiger.

This was taken at Epcot.  We were in the Africa section of visiting all the countries when the twins spotted more face painting.  How could I turn them down?  Well, I couldn’t.  Jack went for a gecko and Carleigh chose a beautiful bird.  They had so much fun chosing the designs.

So, for anyone heading to Disney soon, be sure to bring an extra $12- $15 per kid  (per day) for some fun face painting!
